we made it to dingle! we're at cuan an daingin (the dingle harbor), a small town on the peninsula with breathtaking scenery. it is such a cute place with beautiful views of the water and cliffs and green hills. this afternoon we went on a boat ride around the peninsula to get a better idea of what it looks like and to enjoy the amazing sights. and along the way, a dolphin joined us! his name is fungie and apparently he's a local around here. other dolphins come and go, but for some reason fungie stays around. what am i talking about? for some reason? if i were a dolphin, i would definitely live here too. it really is a stunning place. a camera doesn't do it any justice, but here's a look at the town and our afternoon on the water:
the town (i told you it was cute, didn't i?)

all aboard!
here's out boat, lady avalon the second. regal, isn't she?
after the boat ride we had a delicious sea food dinner (fish & chips and prawn pasta, yum), shopped around for a bit and headed back to our bed and breakfast for a night in. mostly because everything closes here at 7o'clock. but also because we're all pretty tired.
